Group therapy is a powerful option to deal with  issues.  Group therapy has been shown to:

    1. Be as effective, and at times, more effective than individual therapy.
    2. Provide a very useful and helpful augmentation to existing individual therapy.
    3. Create a rare and very usable format to work on interpersonal relationships, communication, feedback, reality checks, and promote a more realistic self understanding and perception.
    4. Cost effective at about 1/3 the price of individual therapy.

I specialize in group work; offering three groups for gay men (San Francisco) and two groups for gay and bisexual men (Menlo Park).

Additionally, I provide psychotherapy for individuals and couples.  My experience over the past twenty two years has been in Mental Health and Health Care settings, focusing on gay men, their families, and other populations.

Additionally, I have offered over 200 workshops, groups, staff in-services, and lectures for a diverse population  throughout the US.  Topics include HIV/AIDS, Mental Health Issues with Gay Men, and Flirting/Dating Issues.

An outgrowth of the Flirting/Dating workshops has been a Coaching practice for individuals desiring a pragmatic, practical and short-term focus for their relationship issues.
